Lower Vehicle Shipping Prices From The USA To UK

As the New Year starts the major Transatlantic container shipping lines continue to feel the harsh effects of the worldwide economic downturn with many of them placing ships into lay up.

Following continued hefty price increases during 2007 and 2008 due to the high cost of fuel and high volume of shipments across the Atlantic, the shipping lines are now suffering from severe overcapacity, causing the shipping rates start to fall sharply.

To this end, in conjunction with our US partner, we have negotiated some substantially reduced rates for vehicle shipments to the UK.

If you have been dreaming of buying a vehicle in the US, be it a classic Chevy or a brand new Mustang, but have been discouraged by the less favourable rate of exchange, our revised shipping costs may help to make your project viable.

In conjunction with our British ex-pat owned US partner we can arrange vehicle collections from every State, take care of US export formalities and ship to the UK either in containers or using ro/ro vessels.

On arrival in the UK, Wavecrest Ltd takes care of Customs clearance at the UK port and can also assist with SVA testing if required.
